Dak Lak steps up preparations for the Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference

Dak Lak PPC has convened a meeting to review preparations for the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference.

According to the organising committee, the even will unveil a portfolio of 259 investment attraction projects earmarked for the 2026 - 2030 period (Phase 1), with a total estimated investment capital exceeding 1,000 trillion VND. The province will also launch construction on four projects with a combined investment of approximately 3,022 billion VND, alongside inaugurating four projects with total investment capital reaching nearly 1,744 billion VND.

Dak Lak has sent official requests to Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) and Vietjet Aviation JSC (Vietjet Air), requesting additional flights to as well as from the province during the conference period. In addition, the Department of Finance has proposed shortening processing time for administrative procedures related to projects eligible for the “green lane” mechanism.

Provincial departments, agencies, units along with localities are also actively preparing a range of activities. These includes dialogues between provincial leaders and enterprise together with investors exploring investment opportunities coupled with project sites; dialogue with residents, enterprises, cooperatives and business households; the Vietnam Private Sector Forum (VPSF) 2026 - local dialogue in Dak Lak; as well as a series of thematic workshops on development of industrial parks along with industrial clusters associated with deep processing industries and inter-regional logistics, digital transformation alongside sustainable business ecosystem development, and high-tech agricultural development.

Addressing the meeting, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy acknowledged the efforts of departments, agencies, units together with localities in preparing for the conference and stressed that the event should be organised in a streamlined manner while ensuring professionalism, formality and effectiveness. He also instructed relevant agencies to review projects attracting investor interest within their respective sectors in order to implement necessary procedures.

Beyond finalising preparations for the Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference, provincial leaders also directed relevant agencies and units to proactively formulate post-conference action plans, ensuring that commitments as well as decisions made at the event translated into concrete outcomes, thereby creating fresh momentum for the provincial socio-eco development.
