The year 2026 has been identified as a pivotal milestone in fulfilling the provincial socio-eco development objectives. Dak Lak aims to attract 50 investment projects with total registered capital of approximately 45 trillion VND.
Since the beginning of the year, the province has approved investment policies and granted Investment Registration Certificates (IRCs) for 16 projects with combined registered capital of 5.716 trillion VND. Notably, investment projects have improved not only in number but also in quality, with several major corporations in the energy as well as infrastructure sectors selecting Dak Lak as their investment destination.
Among the flagship developments is the 500kV Krong Buk Substation, invested by National Power Transmission Corporation with total capital of 2.15 trillion VND. The project will strengthen power transmission capacity, laying a solid foundation for industrial expansion. Meanwhile, Tay Hoa 3 Solar Power Plant, developed by Solar Tan Thanh JSC with investment of 1.332 trillion VND, further demonstrates Dak Lak's growing strengths in renewable energy while reinforcing its transition towards more sustainable economy.
This positive momentum reflects Dak Lak's proactive, well-structured investment promotion strategy. In recent months, provincial leaders have held a series of working sessions and investment promotion conferences with reputable domestic alongside international investors, listening directly to their concerns while promptly addressing bottlenecks involving land clearance, legal procedures and infrastructure. Such responsiveness, coupled with the provincial administration's genuine commitment to accompanying businesses, has strengthened investor confidence and encouraged larger capital inflows into strategic projects.
Concurrently, provincial departments, agencies and local authorities have promptly publicised construction plans together with urban and rural planning schemes, enabling businesses together with investors to access planning information transparently while implementing projects in full compliance with prevailing regulations.
Renewing mindsets, inspiring action
To achieve its double-digit growth target during the remainder of 2026, Dak Lak has identified accelerating site clearance and timely handover of cleared land for approved projects as a top priority, allowing construction to begin without delay as well as projects to enter operation at the earliest opportunity.

Simultaneously, the province will continue prioritising investment across its competitive sectors, particularly high-tech agricultural processing, logistics, tourism, alongside renewable energy. Achieving the targeted 10% growth rate, however, will require mobilising approximately 120 trillion VND in investment this year. Against this backdrop, stronger private-sector participation, coupled with broader social capital, will be crucial to sustaining growth momentum.
Looking beyond 2026, Member of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet underscored the urgent need for renewed thinking backed by decisive action to sustain double-digit growth. He stressed that relevant agencies must fundamentally improve the investment environment while eliminating long-standing bottlenecks in institutional awareness as well as policy implementation. The province will continue accompanying businesses through practical measures while advancing comprehensive administrative reform aimed at creating a leaner, more transparent combined with investor-friendly regulatory framework. Such efforts are expected to convert growing interest from major corporations and strategic investors into concrete investment commitments, alongside projects across Dak Lak.
