Repositioning the vision to elevate Dak Lak as a new growth pole

The adjustment of the provincial planning marks a significant milestone in Dak Lak's development journey. More than a reorganisation of development space, it represents a strategic repositioning of Dak Lak's vision, role alongside standing within the broader regional and national development framework.

With its expanded development landscape, Dak Lak is uniquely positioned to connect the Central Highlands with the coast, vast forests with the East Sea, potentials with resources, as well as aspirations with action. This creates a historic opportunity for the province to reorganise its resources, establish new development corridors, and gradually emerge as a dynamic regional growth pole.

According to Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Dak Lak's distinctive advantage coupled with breakthrough potential no longer rest solely on existing strengths, but on its capacity to build connections and transform them into new development value. This means shifting from fragmented development towards an integrated model; from dispersed development to focused strategic priorities; and from investment opportunities to concrete projects, modern infrastructure, capital flows, employment, together with higher quality of life for local people.

Within this vision, enterprises, cooperatives, business households together with investors play a pivotal role. They are the driving force that transforms planning orientations into tangible outcomes, converts potential into resources, and transforms comparative advantages into economic competitiveness. Therefore, Dak Lak's development in the new period depends on creating the most favourable conditions for production along with business entities to expand rapidly, sustainably, and make a greater contribution to overall development.

In recent years, the province has introduced a range of practical measures to support enterprises, cooperatives together with business households. These include the implementation of the Intersectoral Legal Support Programme for SMEs and Business Households for the 2026 - 2030 period; maintaining the Entrepreneurs' Coffee programme twice each month to engage in dialogue alongside address difficulties facing enterprises and investors; together with reviewing and issuing regulations, mechanisms combined with policies within its authority in a coordinated and consistent manner to establish a sound legal framework for investment, production as well as business activities.

Ahead of the conference for voter engagement and dialogue with enterprises, the competent authorities have initially compiled more than 100 comments coupled with recommendations submitted by organisations and businesses. Far more than statistics, these reflect practical issues requiring timely solutions while serving as a measure of the commitment of authorities at all levels to accompanying enterprises, removing bottlenecks and improving the investment along with business environment. They also underscore a clear principle: listening must be genuine, responses transparent, implementation accountable, while dialogue delivers tangible outcomes.

"Dak Lak is facing tremendous development opportunities. These opportunities will only translate into results when we turn dialogue into action, commitments into disciplined implementation, and difficulties facing enterprises into the responsibility of authorities to resolve. Only then can we build a modern economy, achieve green alongside sustainable development, while strengthening Dak Lak's role as a development nucleus, a vital connectivity hub, and a strategic gateway linking the Central Highlands with the South Central Coast together with national economic corridors", comrade Cao Thi Hoa An emphasised.
