The Steering Committee for the Implementation of Double-Digit Economic Growth Targets in Dak Lak Province for the 2026-2030 period (Steering Committee 152) recently convened its third meeting to review and assess the implementation of economic growth tasks and solutions, while providing opinions on matters within its authority.

According to a report presented by the Standing Agency of Steering Committee 152, the provincial economy maintained a positive growth trajectory during the first half of 2026. The agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector outperformed the growth scenario set at the beginning of the year. The tourism sector welcomed approximately 5.33 million visitor arrivals, generating revenue of 9.602 trillion VND. Concurrently, 1,991 new enterprises were established across the province, and 442 enterprises resumed operations.
As of June 16, 2026, the province had disbursed 21.75% of the public investment plan assigned by local authorities, with an average weekly growth rate of 1.6%, exceeding the national average. Steering Committee 152 is currently monitoring 49 key projects and works with total registered investment capital estimated at 252.993 trillion VND.
During the meeting, participants focused on evaluating the six-month growth scenario implementation, reviewing progress in public investment disbursement and proposing measures to accelerate economic growth in the coming period.
Delegates also conducted a comprehensive assessment of public investment disbursement, progress in carrying out assigned tasks and the first-half growth scenario implementation. Simultaneously, they put forward a range of solutions aimed at creating additional momentum for economic expansion during the remaining months of the year.

Concluding the meeting, Dak Lak Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet called on all levels of government and sectors to effectively implement tasks outlined in conclusions of the Steering Committee; accelerate public investment disbursement; remove obstacles facing delayed and stalled projects; and complete procedures to facilitate early commencement and operation of projects capable of generating new growth momentum. He also requested relevant agencies to urgently prepare reports proposing that central authorities address land-related issues associated with former state-run agricultural and forestry enterprises; effectively implement National Target Programmes; and advance key development initiatives, including the project to build Buon Ma Thuot into the “Coffee Capital of the World”, social housing development, digital economy expansion, OCOP promotion (One Commune One Product) products and community-based tourism growth.
Regarding growth objectives for the second half of 2026, the Provincial Party Secretary instructed sectors and localities to review and update their respective growth scenarios, clearly identify gaps compared with planned targets and introduce new growth drivers linked to science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. He further emphasised the need to address bottlenecks related to site clearance and construction materials, accelerate implementation of major projects and key infrastructure works, and resolve long-standing delayed projects in order to unlock resources and maximise their contribution to the provincial socio-eco development.
