Comrade Do Huu Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee and PPC Chairman, together with a provincial delegation, visited as well as worked with Chanh Thu Fruit Import - Export Processing Factory in Cuor Dang commune.

Chanh Thu Fruit Import - Export Group JSC specialises in exporting fresh and frozen fruit, exporting more than 200,000 tonnes of fruit annually to markets including the United States, Japan, Australia, Europe, China along with the Republic of Korea. Its fruit processing factory in Dak Lak has an annual processing capacity of 70,000 tonnes of raw materials.

During the visit, the delegation toured the factory's raw material reception area, processing lines, cold storage facilities, along with durian and agricultural export packaging facilities.

PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy commended Chanh Thu Group for its systematic investment and contributions to agricultural produce processing coupled with exports, highlighting its contribution to the provincial socio-eco development while creating employment opportunities for local workers.

Provincial leaders emphasised that Dak Lak has officially unveiled its adjusted provincial planning, which prioritises the development of agriculture, forestry, fisheries alongside fruit processing industries. Simultaneously, the province is implementing a "green lane" mechanism for priority projects while upgrading infrastructure across industrial parks and clusters to create the most favourable conditions for enterprise investment, production combined with business activities. The province hopes the company will consider expanding its operations in line with its strategy to develop export-oriented deep-processing industries.

As the novel durian harvest season approaches, provincial leaders called on Chanh Thu Group to make thorough preparations in terms of resources, raw materials and other necessary conditions, while expanding procurement for fresh fruit exports as well as peeled durian and frozen processed products. Provincial departments together with agencies will introduce measures to support seasonal labour recruitment alongside maintaining security and public order, enabling enterprises to operate with confidence.

Comrade Do Huu Huy stressed that Dak Lak is vigorously implementing measures to remove bottlenecks relating to durian growing area codes while strengthening export quality control, thereby safeguarding the provincial agricultural brand and creating favourable conditions for enterprises engaged in durian production, trading alongside exports.

Furthermore, the province will also organise the Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026 to further promote the Dak Lak durian brand internationally, strengthen trade promotion and support enterprises in expanding exports.
