PPC Chairman Do Huu Huy inspects progress of social housing projects

Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Dak Lak PPC Chairmam, comrade Do Huu Huy recently conducted a field inspection of social housing projects, land plots earmarked for land-use rights auctions, along with plans for managing public offices and State-owned assets following administrative restructuring in the provincial eastern region.

During the inspection, the delegation visited three social housing developments: the An Phu Social Housing Project, the Phuoc Hau Neighbourhood Social Housing Project in Binh Kien Ward, and the Social Housing Project north of Tran Phu Street in Tuy Hoa Ward.

Among them, the Social Housing Project north of Tran Phu Street comprises 506 apartments as well as has already secured a construction permit. However, implementation remains constrained by power-line relocation, site clearance and completion of connecting transport infrastructure. The Phuoc Hau Neighbourhood Social Housing Project is designed to provide around 690 apartments with total investment of approximately 783 billion VND. Although preparatory work has been completed, several land-related administrative procedures remain unresolved. Simultaneously, the An Phu Social Housing Project spans more than 4.3 hectares and is expected to deliver approximately 2,270 apartments with investment capital of around 2.584 trillion VND. The investor is currently finalising documentation for a construction permit.

Concluding the inspection, PPC Chairman Do Huu Huy instructed provincial departments, agencies, local authorities, together with project investors, to prioritise removing bottlenecks involving land clearance, technical infrastructure and investment procedures to keep construction on schedule. Regarding the Social Housing Project north of Tran Phu Street, he directed the investor to commence test piling in July alongside hold the groundbreaking ceremony in early August.

For the Phuoc Hau Neighbourhood Social Housing Project, the PPC Chairman instructed the investor to review implementation progress, develop a detailed construction schedule and mobilise maximum resources to accelerate execution. Relevant authorities together with local administrations were also directed to expedite land clearance.

For the An Phu Social Housing Project, comrade Do Huu Huy requested the investor to thoroughly reassess implementation progress and submit a detailed implementation plan to provincial leaders during the following week.

As part of the working programme, the PPC Chairman also inspected several sites designated for upcoming land-use rights auctions. He received briefings on their current status, legal framework, development potential combined with auction roadmap. Relevant agencies also presented proposals for reorganising and managing public offices as well as State-owned assets to maximise utilisation of publicly owned land and buildings.
