Dak Lak province is entering the peak of the 2026 durian harvest. In major durian-growing areas such as Krong Pac, Quang Phu, Cu M'gar and Ea Knuec, harvesting is in full swing.
A highlight of this year's durian season is the 2026 Dak Lak Durian Festival, themed "Dak Lak Durian - Connecting for Greater Reach", taking place from August 15 to September 2 in Buon Ma Thuot coupled with Tuy Hoa wards, Krong Pac commune alongside durian-growing localities province-wide. The festival features 17 cultural and tourism activities as well as is expected to attract 300,000 visitors, providing fresh impetus to durian exports while enhancing the value of local agricultural brands.
