The delegation assessed service readiness at Muong Thanh Luxury Hotel, Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourism Centre, Anh Duong Eco-tourism Site, while also inspecting festival preparations in Buon Don Commune.

Comrade Do Huu Huy stressed that Dak Lak Durian Festival 2026 is drawing near, urging the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to accelerate preparations, ensuring high-quality accommodation, services combined with visitor experiences for residents and tourists. The effort aims to create a positive impression among both domestic coupled with international visitors.

Accommodation providers and tourism sites must align closely coordinate with festival activities, delivering quality services with professionalism alongside attention to detail, from warm hospitality through service standards. Such efforts will help reinforce Dak Lak’s image as a civilised, welcoming and hospitable destination.

“This year’s festival aims to welcome 300,000 visitors. Communes together with wards province-wide, particularly key tourism destinations and localities hosting festival activities, must develop concrete plans as well as measures for attracting visitors, contributing to the provincial efforts to ensure a successful even while leaving a lasting positive impression on tourists”, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy said.

During the inspection, provincial leaders also asked the Department of Agriculture and Environment to study the organisation of tours showcasing elephant care along with conservation at the Elephant Conservation and Animal Rescue Centre, coupled with public and visitor outreach on elephant conservation throughout the festival.
