The PPC recently held a conference reviewing the 45-Day Campaign, which aimed to accelerate site clearance for key projects province-wide. The conference was conducted both in person and online, connecting with local authorities across the province.

According to a report presented at the conference, decisive efforts during the 45-day campaign brought significant progress in site clearance across numerous projects. Initially covering 42 projects, the campaign was expanded to include 11 additional works along with projects facing difficulties and obstacles, bringing the total to 53. As of August 21, seven projects had achieved 100% site clearance; 15 had reached at least 90%, including nine exceeding 95%; while 21 remained below 90%. Ten projects had yet to begin site clearance as they remained in the investment-preparation stage.

Addressing the conference, Provincial Party Secretary, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet acknowledged and commended the strong sense of responsibility as well as efforts shown by working groups, departments, agencies, local authorities, investors combined with personnel directly involved in site clearance. He said the 45-Day Campaign had brought clear changes in awareness and action across the political system, helping resolve long-standing bottlenecks while clearing land for key projects. Authorities at all levels and sectors must maintain close contact with local communities, strengthen dialogue, explanation alongside public outreach to build consensus; urgently complete remaining clearance work without creating novel bottlenecks; while closely aligning site-clearance schedules with project implementation timelines.

Concluding the conference, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy highlighted a new working approach as one of the campaign’s key achievements. It assigns specific tasks with clear accountability linked to final outcomes, places residents at the centre, while prioritising dialogue, transparency, openness and compliance with the law. He called on authorities at all levels together with sectors to maintain a hands-on approach, hold regular coordination meetings and prevent any return to delays or responsibility shifting. For projects with completed site clearance, machinery alongside workers must be mobilised promptly so construction can begin. For projects still behind schedule, commune- and ward-level People’s Committees must work as well as investors to review each land parcel coupled with individual case, ensuring issues are resolved thoroughly.

On this occasion, the PPC presented certificates of merit to 22 collectives and 26 individuals in recognition of their outstanding achievements in implementing the 45-Day Campaign aimed at accelerating site clearance province-wide.
