31 Dak Lak enterprises join trade promotion activities in Ho Chi Minh City

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade has launched a series of trade promotion alongside business networking activities connecting the city with provinces and cities nationwide.

At the event, the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade, together with 31 local enterprises, set up three exhibition areas, including one joint provincial display and two areas for enterprises, cooperatives combined with production facilities. The stands showcase local specialties, four- and five-star OCOP products, as well as outstanding rural industrial products with export potential, ranging from dried durian, coffee, pepper, cocoa, passion fruit, turmeric starch along with cereals to other local products.

Dak Lak enterprises are also participating in key networking activities, notably B2B meetings with 12 major distribution channels in Ho Chi Minh City. These include SaigonCo.op, Satra, Annam Gourmet, WinMart/WinMart+, Kingfoodmart, Farmers Market, Genshai Mart and Vissan, as well as the Shopee and Alibaba.com e-commerce platforms alongside the Binh Dien and Hoc Mon wholesale markets.

Enterprises, cooperatives together with production facilities are also attending thematic workshops with major retail groups Central Retail and MM Mega Market. Other activities focus on connecting products bearing the “Responsible Green Tick” label with the market, developing omnichannel sales as well as e-commerce, accelerating digital transformation and expanding livestreaming-based sales channels, alongside the “Women’s Entrepreneurship Festival” and cooperation on product quality control.

Running through October 11, the programme provides enterprises further opportunity to engage directly with market participants, gain insights into consumer demand and market trends, as well as explore product standards, procurement requirements and cooperation models. It also enables them to introduce Dak Lak products to distribution networks along with retail chains in Ho Chi Minh City while gradually expanding online sales channels and access to domestic as well as international markets.
