Marking Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13), the Dak Lak Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board (the Management Board) recently held a meeting with investors alongside enterprises operating in the South Phu Yen Economic Zone (EZ), industrial parks (IPs) and high-tech agricultural zones province-wide.
According to the report presented at the meeting, the South Phu Yen EZ, IPs and provincial high-tech agricultural zones have attracted 202 projects, with total registered domestic investment of nearly 49,730 billion VND as well as foreign investment exceeding 151 million USD. The average occupancy rate across the five operational IPs surpassed 96%.
Production and business activities in the EZ coupled with IPs have remained stable. Industrial production value reached 19,999 billion VND, while exports totalled 475 million USD. They also contributed 303 billion VND to the state budget and generated approximately 17,700 jobs.

At the meeting, investors and enterprises discussed difficulties and obstacles concerning investment procedures, land, IP infrastructure, planning, highly skilled human resources and relevant policies. They also proposed solutions to improve administrative management, attract investment and facilitate business operations province-wide.
Addressing the meeting, comrade Huynh Lu Tan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Management Board, acknowledged the contributions of enterprises together with investors to the provincial socio-eco development, particularly in industrial production, exports, state budget contributions and job creation.
He noted that the enterprise performance in the EZs and IPs in recent years highlighted the provincial considerable development potential as well as continued investment appeal.
The Management Board will continue to renew its working methods, improve service quality and proactively monitor enterprise operations, promptly addressing emerging difficulties alongside obstacles or advising the competent authorities on appropriate solutions.
On this occasion, the Management Board signed a cooperation agreement with Viettel Dak Lak on digital transformation. It also presented certificates of merit to 14 enterprises for their outstanding achievements in investment along with production activities in 2026.
