On June 26, Dak Lak PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Dao My, together with leaders of relevant departments and agencies, received Ms. Ganbaatar Hulan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Vietnam, during her visit to attend the 2026 Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference.

Ambassador Ganbaatar Hulan emphasised that Vietnam coupled with Mongolia have long enjoyed close and enduring ties, with the senior leaders from both countries attaching great importance to bilateral cooperation. Relations have expanded across a broad range of sectors, with growing interest from Mongolian enterprises in the Vietnamese market. Bilateral exchanges have also benefited from a visa exemption agreement as well as launched direct air services.

Dak Lak province, in particular, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Orkhon province, one of Mongolia's most developed localities, recognised for its abundant mineral resources and significant development potential. Cooperation between the two provinces has continued to deepen, particularly in trade along with investment promotion.

Ahead of the 2026 Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference, Ambassador Ganbaatar Hulan expressed confidence that the event would deliver tangible outcomes alongside attract more domestic and international investors to the province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Dao My said that the friendship together with cooperation between Vietnam and Mongolia, as well as between Dak Lak and Orkhon provinces, have become increasingly practical combined with effective.

With its expanded development landscape, diverse potential alongside enhanced regional connectivity, Dak Lak is well positioned for comprehensive development. The two provinces also share numerous similarities, facilitating broader exchanges and comprehensive cooperation. Comrade Dao My expressed the hope that the Ambassador would continue serving as a bridge to further strengthen ties along with deepen mutual understanding between the two countries combined with the two provinces.

During the courtesy meeting, Ambassador Ganbaatar Hulan formally invited Dak Lak’s leaders to attend the 50th anniversary celebration of Erdenet city, Orkhon province, scheduled for July 23-25, 2026. The PPC Vice Chairman gladly accepted the invitation.
