At the meeting, representatives from Buon Ma Thuot Construction Investment Project Management Board reported on implementation status and progress.
Regarding Hung Vuong Road, the section running from No. 397 Hung Vuong Street towards Tran Quy Cap Street has total investment exceeding 83.4 billion VND, stretching nearly 493 metres, construction has reached 75% completion. The section connecting Phase 1 to Nguyen Van Cu Street involves 100 billion VND in investment, extending over 477 metres, with completion at 41%.
The 19/5 Road upgrade and expansion project carries total investment of 474 billion VND, spanning more than 3,997 metres; to date, implementation has so far reached 22% of contractual volume. Ea Tam Irrigation Reservoir project, with total investment exceeding 1.4685 trillion VND, stands at 67.21% completion;
Ton Duc Thang Road project, covering sections between Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street and Tran Khanh Du Street, as well as Phan Trong Tue Street and Le Quy Don Street, extends over 1.2 kilometres, with total investment of 565 billion VND. Progress remains behind schedule.
Discussions focused on identifying difficulties along with bottlenecks during implementation, particularly compensation and site clearance, project timelines, public investment disbursement, as well as coordination in appraisal and approval of specific land prices serving as a basis for compensation alongside support plans, ensuring timely site clearance.
In concluding remarks, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy urged departments, sectors, localities to adopt concrete and decisive measures to remove obstacles together with accelerate progress, prioritising public investment disbursement and timely completion. He stressed strict compliance with the principle of “clear personnel, clear tasks, clear authority, clear timelines, clear outcomes”. Project management boards were assigned as focal points, responsible for monitoring progress, consolidating arising issues, reporting to the PPC twice weekly for prompt review and resolution, etc.
