In recent years, Dak Lak has identified high-quality agriculture as one of its strategic priorities. The province has focused on organic along with high-tech agriculture linked to value chains, alongside tourism development. It has also strengthened connections between production, processing and markets, while gradually shifting from an agricultural production mindset to an agricultural economy, integrating agriculture with forestry.

Leveraging favourable geographical location together with natural conditions, Dak Lak has steadily established itself as an attractive and reliable destination for domestic coupled with international investment in high-tech agriculture.

During the seminar, participants discussed the provincial potential and competitive advantages in agricultural development, investment incentives for high-tech agriculture, solutions to attract investment, as well as the application of advanced technologies in seed production and aquaculture.

The seminar also gathered recommendations from enterprises along with cooperatives regarding high-tech agriculture standards, stronger production partnerships and measures to boost exports of agricultural, forestry alongside fishery products.

Delivering closing remarks, PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Nguyen Thien Van said the presentations and discussions had analysed valuable insights into modern agricultural development while proposing practical solutions to develop concentrated raw material zones, accelerate science coupled with technology adoption, advancing digital transformation, processing industries, logistics, along with strengthening cooperation among enterprises, cooperatives and farmers.

According to comrade Nguyen Thien Van, the initial outcomes of high-tech agricultural production models demonstrate that Dak Lak is moving in the right track as well as should further accelerate both the scale and pace of development throughout the 2026 - 2030 period.

In order to realise its goal of becoming the high-tech agriculture hub of the Central Highlands together with Central Vietnam, the province has identified three strategic priorities: finalising planning, developing concentrated production areas and high-tech agricultural zones; further streamlining administrative reform under the "four reductions" principle, reducing procedures, processing time, costs combined with paperwork, thereby creating a more favourable investment environment; and effectively implementing preferential policies while accompanying enterprises throughout their investment and development process.

The PPC Vice Chairman also urged provincial departments, sectors along with local authorities to promptly translate the seminar outcomes into programmes and practical solutions for early implementation.
