Dak Lak province recently sent a delegation to the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, China, held from November 2nd to 10th.

Five local enterprises joined the delegation to showcase signature agricultural alongside processed food products, including coffee, avocado-based goods, cocoa, chocolate, macadamia nuts. At the exhibition booths, they provided opportunities for partners to experience, sample, as well as familiarize themselves with these products.

During the expo, the Dak Lak Department of Industry and Trade organized a business-matching session connecting local agricultural producers with partners in Shanghai. The session was attended by department leadership, representatives from relevant agencies, five Dak Lak enterprises, combined with 12 businesses in Shanghai.

At the event, enterprises from the both sides presented their products, production capacities, supply capabilities, market requirements. They also explored potential collaborations, resulting in signing cooperation memorandum for exchanging coupled with distributing each other’s products.

Additionally, the delegation held meetings with Shanghai Maiji Information Technology Co., Ltd., where they examined the company’s production alongside business models, as well as its market connectivity capabilities.

Through this mission, Dak Lak province reaffirms its commitment to strengthening international trade promotion, supporting local businesses in proactively accessing markets, identifying novel partners, expanding distribution channels for the provincial products. This also serves as an opportunity for local businesses to enhance their competitiveness, boost exports, gradually integrate Dak Lak provincial signature agricultural products more deeply into international supply chains together with markets.
