Dak Lak holds dialogue with businesses, cooperatives and business households

As part of the 2026 Dak Lak Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference, a voter meeting along with dialogue between the provincial National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation, the Provincial People's Council, the PPC, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, together with businesses, cooperatives and business households, was held on the afternoon of June 25 at the PYTOPIA Convention Centre in Tuy Hoa Ward.

The event was conducted in both in-person coupled with online formats via digital platforms. It brought together provincial leaders, representatives of central agencies, departments, sectors and local authorities, alongside more than 200 representatives from business associations, enterprises, cooperatives together with business households province-wide.

Opening the conference, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, said the event provided an opportunity for provincial leaders to hear first-hand feedback from the business community, identify challenges facing enterprises, cooperatives combined with business households, and work together on practical solutions to improve the investment alongside business environment.

Comrade noted that, ahead of the conference, relevant agencies had compiled 101 comments and recommendations covering land, planning, investment, credit, taxation along with product consumption. Departments, sectors and local authorities were requested to provide clear responses, specify responsibilities as well as commit to addressing issues within their jurisdiction.

Representatives of businesses, cooperatives and business households raised a wide range of proposals related to administrative reform (AR), removing bottlenecks in land, investment alongside construction procedures, improving access to finance, promoting digital and green transformation, refining tax combined with credit policies, and accelerating infrastructure development. Many participants also called for more effective support mechanisms to strengthen production and business activities.

Issues falling within provincial authority were addressed directly at the conference by leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

Addressing the event, PPC Chairman, comrade Do Huu Huy said the province is accelerating AR, improving the investment climate, removing long-standing bottlenecks and developing integrated infrastructure to expand development space. He stressed that the announcement of the provincial master plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision towards 2050, alongside investment promotion activities, would create novel momentum for attracting investment resources. The province, he affirmed, remains committed to promptly considering while resolving recommendations from businesses, cooperatives and business households while continuing to build a transparent, open as well as investor-friendly business environment that supports private-sector growth.

Concluding the conference, comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation, requested the PPC, departments together with relevant agencies to urgently review every recommendation, provide specific responses and focus on removing bottlenecks related to AR alongside the investment environment. Matters beyond provincial authority will be consolidated by the Provincial National Assembly Deputies’ Delegation and submitted to central authorities for consideration.

Emphasising that businesses are a key driver of economic growth, he said the province will prioritise improving access to land, promoting standardised agricultural production, strengthening product branding coupled with market expansion, advancing science and technology, innovation along with digital transformation, enhancing human resource quality, supporting the collective economy and improving access to credit.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also called for continued innovation in government-business dialogue mechanisms; simultaneously, encouraging the business community to adopt new approaches, make full use of support policies, invest with confidence and strengthen cooperation for sustainable development.
