Entrepreneurs' Coffee programme: Building a culture of development as a pillar of growth

On July 11, the Dak Lak Department of Finance, in coordination with the Dak Lak Business Association, organised the fourth Entrepreneurs' Coffee programme in 2026 under the theme "Building a culture of development - A pillar of double-digit economic growth".

Providing updates to the business community, a representative of the Department of Finance said the provincial economy grew by 7.84% in H1 2026. Total social investment reached 27,174.5 billion VND, while nearly 1,990 new enterprises were established. The province has continued implementing comprehensive measures to improve the investment and business competitiveness alongside addressing difficulties facing enterprises. At the Provincial Planning Announcement and Investment Promotion Conference, Dak Lak granted investment policy approvals, survey approvals together with memoranda of understanding to 103 investors covering 147 projects, with combined registered investment capital of approximately 1,061,159 billion VND.

According to enterprises along with the business association, Dak Lak is entering a period of unprecedented development opportunities. The key challenge lies in translating the provincial planning into concrete action, converting opportunities into tangible outcomes and generating substantive growth. For enterprises, a culture of development serves as the decisive factor shaping the pace, quality combined with effectiveness of growth.

Delegates also shared their development aspirations, as well as resilience and determination required to overcome challenges in pursuit of the provincial double-digit growth target.

Addressing the programme, PPC Vice Chairman, comrade Nguyen Thien Van emphasised that the province is prioritising measures to promote private sector development in accordance with Politburo Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW. These include policies supporting SMEs in technology adoption, workforce training, digital transformation alongside legal advisory services. He also reaffirmed that the province consistently regards enterprises as the driving force for socio-eco development.

In the coming period, the province will focus on removing bottlenecks and unlocking development resources. It will support enterprises in reducing regulatory compliance costs, improving access to land coupled with credit, accelerating administrative reform, and further enhancing the investment alongside business environment. Enterprises, in turn, were encouraged to seize investment opportunities, foster a culture of development, and operate transparently as well as efficiently, contributing to the provincial economic growth.
